Sinan Yöney started his professional career as a
real estate valuation expert after an internship
with an investment bank on corporate finance for one
year. He worked on preparing feasibility analyses
for and valuing the properties held in portfolios of
REITs, publicly listed companies, private holding
companies and government agencies such as the
Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Savings
Deposit Insurance Fund and the Privatization
Administration.
During his tenure in the US, he worked on developing
the marketing strategies and feasibility analyses of
urban renovation and development projects and on
preparing the leasing strategy of a shopping mall
for projects in Miami and Puerto Rico.
With Dubai Holding he worked as a development
manager in charge of international projects. He
oversaw the Dubai Towers Jeddah Project during the
preparation of feasibility studies, signing of the
partnership agreement, purchase of land plots,
managing the architectural design, conducting the
market and target group research, finalizing the
concept design, obtaining project approval from the
Municipality of Jeddah, handling the project
financing negotiations, conducting the ground
studies and foundation design and negotiation of the
hotel management agreement with Ritz Carlton.
Furthermore, his team was responsible for preparing
for the USD 700 million IETT bus terminal auction in
Istanbul, winning the auction , conducting the
market research, feasibility studies and concept
design works, partnership deal talks with domestic
groups and signing the protocol for a USD 500
million bank loan for the project company.
Sinan was involved in the negotiations to acquire a
masterplan development project in Bodrum. He handled
the signing of the MoU, market research, technical,
tax related and financial due diligence processes
and negotiations for the final contracts.
Additionally, he directed talks with investors and
operators for funding the project and finalized
initial agreement with a domestic investor and
obtained an LOI from an international premium resort
operator.
He took part in the feasibility study, market
research, design management, operator selection, and
partnership negotiations of various projects of
Dubai Holding, in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria,
Iran, Tunisia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
Sinan Yöney has also worked as an executive
director, with responsibilities for fundraising and
underwriting potential opportunities, in a real
estate investment fund established by investors from
the US, UAE and KSA. |

In the past twenty years, Ugur worked as a managing partner
being responsible on brokerage and land and project development
activities in corporate companies of the industry, Colliers,
Pega & Jones Lang LaSalle.
He is expert on managing the every
process of buying land and negotiations with the landowners,
local developers and local authorities.
Uğur Şahin has completed
transactions in total of 5,000,000 m². He had a variety of
multinational and national client portfolio such as Enron Power,
USA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gillette, Deutsche Bank, Sama Dubai, Redevco, TRW, Şişecam.
